The Public Finance Initiative team will provide concrete information around the range of public finance strategies that can be leveraged for funding county and other publicly beneficial projects, including the vision and priorities articulated in the first day of the convening. Experts will respond to questions and concerns from attendees and provide ideas for long-term engagement, specifically:
Goals:
The goal is to bring county policymakers and community members together to hear from public financing experts to better understand alternative options to fund community projects.
Present strategies for framing projects, including project need, values, and community buy-in to help applicants increase funding success.
Discuss and compare different tools and financing products and markets.
