This page allows you to find stream status and documents by stream name. We list 44 streams that have been, or currently are, diverted. Each entry has all the documentation we have for that stream. This may include:
- DAR report, which is environmental, focused on biota
- IFSAR and IIFS which are flow reports and standards, if they exist.
- Legal findings, such as a contested case, a CWRM ruling, or court action
- Photos, maps, miscellaneous reports
- Links to flow data and water quality data
The bottom of this page has some further documents that are relevant to East Maui stream restoration.

The following list of streams only includes those tracked by CWRM which means it was or is diverted. If a stream does not appear in this list and you believe it should be, please let us know.
The stream name is color coded by the lease area for that stream:
- Ha’iku (not a lease area) – 7 streams
- Huelo – 17 streams
- Honomanu – 4 streams
- Ke’anae – 13 streams
- Nahiku – 3 streams
Other Notes:
- DAR = Division of Aquatic Resources
- IFSAR = Instream Flow Standard Assessment Report
- PAIFS = Petition to Amend Instream Flow Standard
- Some streams have different names along its path, or different spellings. We list all names on the line.
- §13-169-44 = Statutory requirement for Instream Flow. This is the fallback the CWRM uses in the absence of historical flow data. Basically it locks in whatever the situation was for the stream in 1988.
